Udacity and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced a new AWS Machine Learning Scholarship Program with the goal of removing barriers to machine learning (ML) training and cultivating leaders from underrepresented groups, including women, Black, Latinx, and Indigenous people, and People of Color.
According to the announcement, the AWS Machine Learning Scholarship Program will offer 425 scholarships, “based on the results of a test open to all who complete the free AWS Machine Learning Foundations course.”
The AWS Machine Learning Foundations course has also been updated with new modules, including reinforcement learning with AWS DeepRacer and computer vision with AWS DeepLens. The course is designed for those with little to no ML experience and enrollment is now open.
