Sixty-seven percent of the top 1,000 U.S. websites are not in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR), according to analysis by Zendata, reports ITProToday.
Zendata found that:
- 43% of the websites analyzed didn’t have an option to opt out of consumer data being sold.
- Nearly 55% didn’t show a cookie consent message on the first load.
- 31% had ad trackers present on their site.
