The trend toward remote work shows no signs of slowing, according to research from Ladders, Inc., which specializes in high-paying (100K+) jobs.
The Ladders study found that remote job opportunities represented nearly 15 percent of all high-paying job listings in the third quarter of 2021, up from about 13 percent in Q2. “There are currently more than 30,000 high-paying remote jobs available in the US and Canada,” the study reports.
“This is not a fad. The future of work is here now,” says Ladders CEO Marc Cenedella. “This is great news for employees seeking better work/life balance.”
According to the study, the Finance & Insurance, Aerospace, and Legal & Accounting sectors demonstrated the largest growth in remote job opportunities since the start of the pandemic. However, the Information Technology and Telecommunications & Hardware sectors both saw a more than 1000 percent increase in high-paying remote job listings.
