Open Source Hardware Certification API Announced

The Open Source Hardware Association (OSHWA) has released a read/write API for the Open Source Hardware Certification program. 

According to the announcement, the API makes it easier to apply for certification directly and facilitates research, visualizations, and explorations of currently certified hardware.

The new API supports both read and write access to the certification process.  

• Read access provides access to information about hardware that has already been certified. 
• Write access means that you can submit certification applications directly instead of using the application form. 

The documentation provides details on how to use the OSHWA REST API to view, create, and search OSHWA certified open source hardware projects.
