The non-profit AlmaLinux Foundation has announced that AlmaLinux 9 is now available for download.
This latest version of the CentOS alternative “features functionality to make it easier to automate and deploy at scale, networking enhancements for the cloud and edge,” as well as improved security and speed, according to the announcement. It supports the following architectures:
- Intel/AMD (x86_64)
- ARM64 (aarch64)
- IBM PowerPC (ppc64le)
- IBM Z (s390x)
