Microsoft has announced the availability of GPU compute on WSL 2. The Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), which was released 4 years ago, allows Windows users to run native, unmodified Linux command-line tools directly on Windows.
According to Microsoft, adding GPU compute support to WSL has been the most requested feature since the first release.
