GitHub Releases CLI 1.0

GitHub has released version 1.0 of the GitHub CLI, which reduces context switching and facilitates easier scripting and creation of your own workflows.

According to the announcement, GitHub CLI 1.0 lets you:

• Run your entire GitHub workflow from the terminal.
• Call the GitHub API to script actions and set custom aliases.
• Connect to GitHub Enterprise Server in addition to GitHub.com.

Previously added features, developed based on feedback from the beta version, allow you to:

• Create and view repositories.
• Configure GitHub CLI to use SSH and your preferred editor.
• Close, reopen, and label issues and pull requests.
• View the diff, review, and merge pull requests.
