Canonical has published Linux kernel security updates for all of its supported Ubuntu operating system releases in order to address several security vulnerabilities.
The most important update addresses the NFS-related CVE-2021-3178 vulnerability, which affects Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, reports Marius Nestor. Users are urged to patch now.
