Canonical has announced MicroCloud, a lightweight cloud solution designed specifically for scalable clusters and edge deployments, reports Jack Wallen.
“MicroCloud was built with simplicity, security, and automation at its core to help minimize the time required for deployment,” Wallen says.
MicroCloud can be run on the standard Ubuntu Server or Desktop as well as on Ubuntu Core — a lightweight OS optimized for the edge.
